Home Remedies for Large Facial Pores
Pores are actually tiny openings in your facial skin, where your sweat glands are located. Sweat and oil are secreted through these little openings to hydrate your skin.

The initial size of your pores is determined when you are born but as you grow older, they increase in diameter in proportion to your face.

Large facial pores are caused by excess oil, dirt and dead skin cells that are clogged in the pores. Moreover, anything caught in the pores turn black and makes them look even larger.

Also, large pores can develop with age because the skin’s reduced elasticity causes the pores to dilate. Environmental and genetic predisposition may also contribute to an increase in the size of the pores.
You can not permanently shrink the size of your pores, but you can reduce them on demand:
  • Wash your face twice a day with an appropriate cleanser.
  • Lightly exfoliate once daily (in the morning). It keeps the pores clean. Deep exfoliation twice a week helps too. It alleviates some of the problems caused by the sun.
  • Apply a clay-based mask to the T-zone area of you r facial skin once a week after steaming which open up your pores to allow for better penetration.
  • Get a moisturizer for your skin type.
